This product is made as a crumble to ensure that day old chicks can consume the feed.
It must be fed ad-libitum from day old to 21 days. Each chick should consume 1kg of feed (this is more important than feeding for 21 days as this is a guide only).

This product has been made for older broilers that have not been sold at the usual selling age. It is a lower spec feed to ensure birds remain fed and to prevent them from cannibalizing one another. This feed will not increase body weight, it is only to keep the birds fed until sold.

The 4L water font is for day old chicks for about 10 days. Thereafter the 8L and 12L should be used. The water fonts must be suspended from the roof with the cord supplied. As the chicks grow the water fonts must be raised to suit the size of the birds.
Chick Trays are to be used for day old chicks up to a maximum age of 10 days only. Do not overfill the trays as the chicks will waste feed. Add Tube Feeders from 3 days of age to start to teach the growing chicks to eat from the tubes. Slowly start to remove the trays from day 6 or 7.

The plastic Tube Feeders must be suspended with the cord supplied. As the chicks grow the Tube Feeders must also be raised to suit the size of the birds.
Please ensure that between 50 and 80 chicks are brooded per lamp. In the winter months only 50 chicks per lamp. In the summer months up to 80 chicks per lamp. Lamps should hang at about 75cm above the shavings.
